Enhance Your Natural Beauty with the Timeless Appeal by Accentuating Your Features and Highlighting Your Brow Elegance.

The beauty of natural brows lies in their authenticity and uniqueness. Natural brows are a key feature of the face that frame the eyes and contribute to facial expressions. Everyone's eyebrows are unique, with a distinct shape, thickness, and arch. Embracing your natural brows allows you to celebrate your individuality and showcase your personal beauty.

Allowing your brows to grow naturally is a healthy choice. Over-tweezing or excessive use of products can damage the hair follicles and hinder the natural growth of eyebrows. By embracing your natural brows, you promote their health and overall well-being. Remember, beauty is subjective, and what matters most is feeling comfortable and confident in your own skin. Whether you choose to groom your brows or let them grow naturally, the key is to celebrate and appreciate the beauty that is uniquely yours.

Brow Threading

At Perma-Ink, we elevate the art of eyebrow threading to deliver a truly personalized and precise experience. Our technique involves meticulously removing each hair, including the root, to achieve clean, defined brows that accentuate your natural beauty. Before we begin, we gently cleanse the skin around your eyebrows, ensuring a sterile and clear canvas. This not only enhances visibility for precision but also ensures the utmost care for your skin’s health. Choose Perma-Ink for an eyebrow threading experience that combines expertise with a touch of elegance.

Brow Lamination + Shape + Tint

Brow lamination is the best new alternative to Perma-Brows for fuller-looking brows. Brow lamination takes your unruly or thinning brow hair and smoothes it out while also lifting the hair in a more vertical direction. The end result is super smooth brows that look like you have brow gel on them.

Brow Wax + Tint

Precise sculpting process of trimming, waxing, tweezing, and expertly tinting the brows. I recommend that all prospective clients do not wax, tweeze, or thread their brows for at least four weeks before scheduling an appointment.

Brow Shaping (Wax)

Precise sculpting process of trimming, tweezing, and waxing the brows using hard and, or soft wax. Brows are lightly filled in. I recommend that all brow clients do not wax, tweeze, or thread their brows for at least four weeks before scheduling an appointment.

Perma-Brow FAQ's:

  • How long does the healing process take for Perma-Brows?

Healing takes about 7-14 days. During this time, the color may appear darker but will fade to a more natural shade.

  • Can I wear makeup over my Perma-Brows during the healing process?

It's best to avoid makeup on the treated area during the initial healing period to prevent infections.

  • How often do I need touch-ups for Perma- Brows?

Touch-ups are usually needed every 12-18 months to maintain the color and shape.

  • Perma-Brow Client Education

A permanent makeup artist would advise clients to avoid alcohol, coffee, and excessive caffeine consumption before PMU procedures like ombré powder brows or microblading for several reasons:

    1. Increased Bleeding Risk: Alcohol and caffeine can thin the blood and dilate blood vessels, making the client more prone to bleeding during the procedure. Excessive bleeding can affect the ink retention and precision of the pigmentation.
    2. Prolonged Healing: Alcohol and caffeine can slow down the body's natural healing process. This may lead to prolonged recovery times, increased discomfort, and potential complications like infections.
    3. Color Retention: Both alcohol and caffeine can interfere with the absorption of pigment, potentially affecting the final color outcome. Clients may not achieve the desired shade if these substances are consumed before the procedure.
    4. Skin Sensitivity: Coffee and alcohol can dehydrate the skin and make it more sensitive. This can lead to increased discomfort during the procedure, as well as potentially affecting the results and causing uneven pigmentation.
    5. Swelling and Redness: Caffeine, in particular, can exacerbate skin conditions like redness and swelling. Clients consuming too much caffeine before PMU may experience more pronounced side effects, making it harder to evaluate the immediate results.

In summary, avoiding alcohol, coffee, and excessive caffeine before a PMU procedure is crucial to ensure optimal results, minimize complications, and promote a smoother healing process. Clients should follow their artist's pre- procedure guidelines for the best outcomes.

    • Do not drink caffeine, alcohol or work out 24 hours prior to your appointment. Do not take blood thinning medications (with consent from your physician) and supplements such as vitamin E, Fish Oil, aspirin, niacin, or ibuprofen 24 hours prior to appointment.
    • Avoid high vitamin supplements (i.e. power shakes/greens & "Hair, Skin, Nail" vitamins) 24 hours prior to appointment.
    • Avoid intense tanning 1 week prior to your appointment.
    • Discontinue Glycolics, Chemical Peels, Retin-A and any eyebrow growth serums 2 weeks prior to your appointment.
    • Refrain from using any Alpha Hydroxy Acid (AHA) products near brows 2 weeks prior to and 2 weeks after appointment. . Check your moisturizer, facewash, BB/ CC creams and makeup/ primers for acid containing ingredients
    • If you use Botox, it should be performed 2 weeks prior to or 2 weeks after your appointment.
    • WE DO NOT WORK ON ANYONE THAT IS PREGNANT OR STILL  BREAST FEEDING, NO EXCEPTIONS HEALED TATTOO EXPECTATIONS
    • Protect your investment! Permanent Make-Up will require proper maintenance once healed to ensure a long-lasting and desired result.
    • Avoid anti-aging and exfoliating products such as retinols, glycolics, salicylic acid, benzoyl peroxide, and the like. This will cause premature fading and/or color change.
    • Sunscreen, sunscreen, sunscreen! We cannot stress this enough. UV rays are your tattoo's worst enemy. Keep your work covered with SPF daily and a hat if outside. Sun exposure will cause fading  and pigment discoloration. Laser procedures such as hair removal or resurfacing will alter the pigment. Please inform your technician of any permanent cosmetics on your face and cover your work with a very thick layer of Vaseline or band aids.
    • Moisturized skin retains better! Keep yourself hydrated and always apply a daily moisturizer to your permanent makeup. Your Perma-Brows should be faded by a minimum of 60% before you come back in for a color boost/touch-up appointment.
    • Perma-Brows are LOW maintenance, NOT NO MAINTENANCE! It is perfectly fine to perfect them with a touch of  makeup and brow growing via wax.
    • Excessive/Repetitive touch ups will result in your brows looking like a solid tattoo. If that is your preferred look then a powder brow is better for you.

BROW LAMINATION & TINT FAQ's:

  • What is Brow Lamination?

Brow Lamination is a gentle, non-invasive, semi-permanent procedure that shapes and sets eyebrow hairs in a specific direction using a mild chemical solution. This technique creates fuller, more defined, and uniformly groomed brows, giving them a thicker and structured appearance with a glossy finish. Ideal for those wanting a fuller, fluffier, and well-defined brow shape, Brow Lamination enhances the overall look of brows. With proper aftercare, which includes using the complimentary Brow Oil provided, the results can last up to 6-8 weeks. The process straightens brow hairs, lifting them and creating a full and fluffy look. Follow our 3-step process to align all your brow hairs in your desired direction. For bolder results, consider combining lamination with tinting.

  • How does lamination work?

When Step 1 (Brow Perming Solution) is applied, the chemical process breaks down the bonds within each hair, allowing them to morph and move into a new shape. When Step 2 (Brow Fixing Solution) is applied, the hair bond remodels into a new shape. Step 3 (Brow Keratin) is applied at the end of the treatment to restore moisture back into the brows and skin.

  • How long does lamination last?

If you follow the correct aftercare, the results will last between 6 to 8 weeks. We recommend applying Brow Gold Oil to the brows every day to restore moisture back into the brows. For maintenance, your laminated brows will need to be styled every morning by brushing and setting the hairs in place.

  • What is the aftercare for lamination?

By following the correct aftercare, you can achieve longer-lasting results. We’ve compiled a list of our go-to aftercare tips, which should be followed for 24 to 48 hours post-treatment:

    • Keep brows completely dry.
    • Use Brow Gold Nourishing Growth Oil daily to keep the brows nourished and hydrated.
    • Do not apply make-up or undertake further eye treatments.
    • Avoid swimming, saunas, and working out. Any excess moisture can cause a slight curl or frizz to the brow hair.
    • Do not allow prolonged exposure to direct sunlight or heat.
    • Do not apply Retin-A, AHA, or exfoliate around the brow area for 72 hours on either side of the treatment.
    • No self-tanning products should be used on the face for one week prior and 48 hours after treatment.
  • Is lamination safe for pregnant and breastfeeding women?

Lamination is not safe for pregnant and breastfeeding women. There is a risk of the chemicals sinking into the skin and potentially entering the bloodstream. If you are pregnant or breastfeeding we recommend consulting with your healthcare professional.

  • What is tint?

Eyebrow tinting is the process of applying semi-permanent dye to enhance, shape, and define your brows. Our richly pigmented tint range stains the skin as well as the brow hairs.

  • How long does tint last?

Brow Code Tint lasts up to 7 days on the skin and up to 3 to 4 weeks on the brow hairs. Please follow all instructions and aftercare correctly to achieve this longevity.

  • What is the before and aftercare for tint?

By following the correct aftercare, you can achieve longer-lasting tint results. We’ve compiled a list of our go-to aftercare tips, which should be followed for 24 to 48 hours post-treatment:

    • Avoid using makeup and facial cleansers around the brow area.
    • Avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight, the use of sunbeds, saunas, steam rooms, and swimming pools.
    • Avoid exfoliating and using anti-aging products around the brow area.
    • Avoid using any self-tanning products on the face for around two-three days on either side of the treatment.
    • Avoid the temptation to over-touch the brow area after treatment. Touching with hands/fingers can lead to oils entering opening pores and clogging them.
  • Is tint safe for pregnant and breastfeeding women?

Brow Code Tint is not safe for pregnant and breastfeeding women. If you are pregnant or breastfeeding we recommend consulting with your healthcare professional.
